English Language Challenges

The truth is that I've never liked English. I think it's because it has always cost me a lot and things you like when you do them well. However, I believe that learning this language is very necessary and useful. Personally I have a poor English base at school and I have never done a course elsewhere, so it is not easy for me to learn English at university. Sometimes I think that the only way to learn will be living for a while in an English speaking country.
I think blogs are a good way to improve writing, and it's fun to read my classmates´s experiences. I do not think it's a better way to learn English, but it's better to do something than do nothing.

I think I have to improve my English a lot but it is very complicated for me. Maybe I should take a course but I do not have time. Another option may be to read more in English. I have always thought that reading is one of the best options to learn anything. I honestly think that I should to take more advantage of  English classes in college. But I have so many subjects and although I do not want to, I often neglect English . The university does not leave you enough time to learn a language.

Finally I must say that outside of English classes I do not use the language at all. I do not like music in English very much. And I always see the films with dubbing. (Yes, I know, many people hate me for that, but it's something that I can not control) Despite this, I know that in the future English will be fundamental in my career, both in school and at work. So I think I'll have to learn soon anyway.

Thank you very much for reading my blog.!

Changes to my study programme

Hello everyone! In the post number 9, I will write about the changes that I would like to do in my career.
I am in second year of my career. The curriculum of Chemistry and Pharmacy in University of Chile was changed the last year. I think that this change was good, but can still improve.
I think the subjects are fine, although I also think that some I will not use them in the future, but anyway I must know them because their use will depend on the area in which I work.
I would like to change the workload. There are semesters where there are many subjects and all are difficult!! This leaves me little free time. If I could I would make a variation. I would put, in one semester, some difficult subjects with others that are not so. Although I do not know if there are "not difficult" subjects :(
Also I would to have better infrastructure in the university and more technology, but I know that I am in a public university and those things are not possible in this moment.
With respect to the teaching methods I am satisfied. I really like the social approach offered by the university. If I could change something of this, It would be at the level of all education in Chile, mainly in evaluations.
I don`t know how to change it, but I would like that not to evaluate so many things from memory, and also that to evaluate other skills, such as art and music, since we all have skills for different things.
I still don`t see such a change possible in my country.
